About Miss Mulholland. Currently, I am attending my fifth year at the University of Lethbridge, studying Mathematics and Education. I have completed my first practicum in education at Claresholm, Alberta, where I had the privilege of teaching a grade six class. This was an amazing opportunity for me and I thoroughly enjoyed gaining more experience within the classroom. I am extremely excited to finish up my degree, December 2015, and enter the world of teaching!
Since a young age, I have always dreamed of becoming a teacher. I was the older sister, who forced my brother to play school with me on a day to day basis. Kelsi, my older sister, would not follow my commands, so Brett, being the youngest, had to play the role of many students, and of course many personalities. Brett graduated as the class valedictorian in 2013, which I take most the credit for being his first and best teacher! ;).
Throughout my life I have been highly involved in various different sports. My parents encouraged me to try everything at least once. As a result, I have participated in soccer, figure skating, bowling, curling, golf, gymnastics, hockey, volleyball, and numerous other activities. However, the sports that I continued to play as I grew older was soccer, hockey, and volleyball. Team sports have taught me many valuable lessons about working with others, staying dedicated, and always putting in 100% of your effort into everything you do. These skills have definitely helped shaped the person I am today and how I choose to live my life.
Due to my strong passion for sports and helping children, I have taken different opportunities to coach different sports teams. In the past, I have assisted numerous soccer teams, and a grade 7/8 volleyball team. In addition, I have taught at a hockey camp in High River. I am looking forward to coaching school sports teams in the future!
